Position Overview

Callfinity is looking for a brilliant and creative software quality assurance engineer to fill an important position on our Rochester, NY development team. You must be able to write and execute software quality assurance test cases/plans, develop and execute automated software test scripts, and utilize thorough understanding of relevant computing practices (design, configuration, and setup) and elementary programming to achieve objectives.

This is a fulltime exempt position reporting to the Software Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Functions

Write and execute software QA test cases/plans
Manage and revise software test cases/plans
Write and execute automated test scripts
Collaborate with Engineering to fix identified problems

Work Experience

Required

1-3 years experience in software QA testing and test case/plan development

Nice To Have

Software development experience
QA automation experience

Skills and Abilities

Must have most of these

Demonstrated ability to write lucid test cases/plans
Experience executing software QA testing

Great talent would also have

Ability to write automated test scripts
Skill in using automated testing tools

Education

Required learning
Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Extra credit
Additional training and/or certification in QA processes
